We seek a seasoned ServiceNow CMDB Developer with 8 to 13 years of experience in IT Service Management, Configuration Management, or IT Operations. This role demands expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud services, and applications. The position is based in Pune and Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold the CMDB strategy, data models, and architecture adhering to banking regulatory and operational standards.
• Design configuration item classes, attributes, and relationships spanning infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
• Ensure CMDB supports ITIL-aligned ITSM processes like Incident, Change, Problem, Release, and Asset Management.
• Lead governance on CMDB data quality ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Implement performance indicators and dashboards to monitor CMDB health and regulatory compliance.
• Drive automated discovery tools deployment and integrate CMDB with various upstream and downstream systems.
• Validate data reconciliation rules and normalization procedures within the CMDB.
• Support regulatory compliance and audit requirements, including operational resilience and third-party risk management.
• Collaborate closely with Risk Compliance and Audit teams to provide CMDB data for control testing and evidence gathering.
• Establish CMDB as a reliable source for change impact analysis and service dependency visualization within Change Advisory Board processes.
• Assist in major incident management by providing accurate mappings of services and infrastructure relationships.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in configuration management and mentor junior CMDB analysts and consultants.
• Advise senior management on CMDB maturity development and value realization strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• In-depth experience with enterprise CMDB platforms, preferably ServiceNow or equivalents.
• Profound knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, networks, middleware, and applications.
• Practical experience with cloud environments such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Hands-on expertise in discovery mechanisms, reconciliation, and data normalization.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL v3 or v4 processes focused on Configuration, Change, Incident, and Asset Management.
• Capability to align CMDB with business service models and service mapping.
• Understanding of operational risk, audit standards, and resilience requirements in banking.
• Proven record in working within large-scale, regulated enterprise environments.
• Minimum of 8 years in IT Service Management, Configuration Management, or IT Operations, with at least 4 years at a senior CMDB specialist or consultant level, ideally in banking or financial services.
