About the role
This full-time Software Engineer position is based in New York, NY and may follow a hybrid working arrangement in line with company policy.

The role offers a US base pay range of $147,000 to $211,000 annually, along with a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Final compensation depends on the position level, location, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related discipline, plus 2 years of experience in the same or a similar software engineering role.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: applying machine learning, statistics, or diffusion model theory in applied research; developing software in Java, C, C++, Python, or Go; designing and using data structures or algorithms; managing ML infrastructure such as model evaluation and data processing; and analyzing or synthesizing data to support ML solutions or assess outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Translate research into practical, high-impact applications by building GenAI prototypes, preparing datasets, and developing ML workflows for generative media, multimodal understanding, and reinforcement learning.
- Write and validate production-ready software, with thorough testing across integration, performance, and security to protect quality and reliability.
- Work closely with teammates through detailed design discussions and code reviews to uphold engineering standards, improve testability, and strengthen efficiency and correctness.
- Investigate and fix difficult system problems by debugging, identifying root causes, and deploying solutions that improve hardware, network, and service performance.
- Develop and update technical documentation and learning resources, revise them based on product changes and user input, and support release activities, monitoring, automation, and technical debt reduction to improve long-term scalability.
