Role Overview
As the Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the development and upkeep of AoFrio's mobile and web application suite, which connects and manages their IoT technology. This position offers hands-on technical leadership, where you will both guide and contribute to the team, setting high standards in architecture, security, and code quality in an enterprise B2B setting. Your leadership will influence how quickly the company scales its software-driven business.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable mobile and web applications that empower customer interaction with AoFrio's hardware.
- Lead cross-functional development squads, ensuring best practices in agile and secure software engineering are followed.
- Mentor and build high-performing engineering teams by fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Integrate and champion the use of AI tools and automation to improve development efficiency and product competitiveness.
- Contribute hands-on by actively coding alongside team members to enhance throughput.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive application development experience at a senior or lead level, including proven leadership in engineering team management.
- Strong proficiency with Flutter and Dart frameworks for cross-platform mobile and web apps.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
- A continuous learning mindset, especially in leveraging AI advances, automation, and innovative development techniques.
