Role Overview

Within Notion’s sales organisation, which emphasizes a Product Led Growth model, a growing number of clients seek to understand how Notion integrates with their technology stacks, replaces current tools, or is rolled out gradually to achieve business objectives. As an early member of our Solutions Engineering team, your role will include:

• Collaborating closely with the sales team on engagements with new and existing clients.
• Addressing complex product and technical inquiries, RFPs, and security questionnaires accurately and promptly.
• Guiding customers technically throughout the sales cycle to facilitate swift deployment and integration of Notion.
• Demonstrating customized Notion solutions that align with client workflows and applications during pre-sales.
• Providing structured product feedback to assist the Product and Engineering teams in enhancing the platform to meet customer needs.
• Partnering with marketing to refine technical messaging through blogs, webinars, and other customer-facing materials.
• Educating the sales team on product updates, features, competitive insights, and typical customer environments and third-party apps.
• Documenting technical details and contributing to internal knowledge repositories for broader team and customer use.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of four years experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Ability to explain API usage in enabling sophisticated customer workflows.
• Experience with third-party integrations associated with IAM/SSO, DLP, or SIEM systems.
• Strong project management skills demonstrated through successful completion of complex initiatives.
• Growth-oriented mentality with comfort working in early-stage teams.
• Adaptability to fast-changing business and industry landscapes.
• Fluency in the French language.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Previous experience as an early employee in a fast-growing startup environment.
• Familiarity with using Notion as a product.
• Basic coding skills, especially related to scripting via the Notion API.
• Knowledge of designing and working with relational databases.

Compensation

Notion offers a competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. Total target earnings for this role range from €119,000 to €133,000 annually, dependent on factors such as location, role scope, and candidate experience.
