Job Overview
This employment opportunity has been exempted from the federal civilian hiring freeze. Utilize your STEM education and engineering expertise to serve as a Special Agent with the FBI. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute investigations into potential breaches of federal laws including cybersecurity and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and flexibility to meet complex investigative needs.
- Establish and sustain constructive liaison relationships with governmental law enforcement bodies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Preserve physical fitness levels adequate to perform demanding law enforcement duties effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- Ability to secure a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is mandatory.
- Capable and willing to travel as job demands arise.
- Must comply with FBI Employment Eligibility standards.
- A bachelor's degree or higher is required, preferably in engineering or a related STEM field, from an accredited U.S. institution.
- All academic credentials must be verified via submission of official transcripts.
