Store Incharge

Overview

Pragati Agri Product is seeking a diligent Store Incharge to oversee material receipt, storage, and distribution activities while maintaining accurate inventory control. This role requires collaboration with vendors and various internal departments to ensure adequate stock for uninterrupted factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying them against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed stock registers documenting material inflow and outflow.
• Ensure materials are correctly tagged, stacked, and stored securely.
• Perform routine stock audits and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels continuously and initiate purchase requests as needed.
• Maintain optimum minimum and maximum inventory thresholds to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Engage and negotiate with vendors to ensure timely material procurement.
• Coordinate with the Accounts department for processing vendor payments promptly.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Administration teams to satisfy their material requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive inventory and purchase reports daily, weekly, and monthly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: 12th Pass; ITI diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Electrical, or related trades is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in store management, inventory control, or purchase operations.
• Fresh ITI graduates eager to learn are invited to apply as trainees.
• Basic understanding of machine components and industrial materials is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with smartphone or mobile device usage.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills paired with clear communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in inventory handling.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates having experience in manufacturing, engineering, agricultural equipment, automobile, machine parts, industrial products, or similar sectors will be given preference.

• Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India
• Salary Range: 15000 to 20000 INR per month
