About the Company and Position

Parmeshwari Polyplast India Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for the role of Store Keeper at their Dhulagarh, Poly Park facility in Howrah, West Bengal. The role offers a salary package ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month, depending on prior experience and performance during the interview process. The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, packing materials, and finished products, ensuring proper storage and issuing them as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate stock registers, inventory logs, and stock ledgers.
• Prepare necessary documentation such as Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, gate passes, and compile daily stock reports.
• Keep inventory records current and generate daily and weekly Management Information System (MIS) reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Collaborate effectively with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch teams to maintain smooth material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels continuously and notify the Purchase department promptly for replenishment.
• Perform routine physical stock verifications and address any discrepancies through reconciliation.
• Ensure proper storage protocols including labelling, implementing FIFO/FEFO where applicable, and maintain cleanliness and organization within the store.
• Handle all inward and outward materials documentation diligently.
• Adhere strictly to company inventory control policies, safety norms, and 5S workplace organization standards.

Requirements and Eligibility

• 2 to 4 years of experience working as a Store Keeper, especially in the plastic manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, and material handling procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory for MIS reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP software would be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, good communication abilities, and accurate record-keeping are essential.
• Capable of working independently while coordinating with multiple departments efficiently.
