Role Overview
The Store Manager at Catbird’s Atlanta location leads all retail operations with a focus on driving sales, nurturing the team, and enhancing customer experiences. Responsibilities include coaching staff, enforcing store policies, and partnering with area and marketing managers to support events and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and develop the retail staff to uphold high customer service standards.
- Create and maintain training plans for new hires and ongoing team learning.
- Stay updated and communicate company policies, product information, and operational procedures.
- Analyze and plan sales objectives to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Collaborate with Area Managers and marketing teams to organize in-store events.
- Support staff in handling customer service challenges and escalations with diplomacy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail leadership.
- Proven ability to manage teams of 10 to 25 employees effectively.
- Strong prioritization skills, especially in busy retail environments.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including weekend availability and location adjustments.
- Experienced with staff scheduling and Google office suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Pages).
- Background in jewelry retail or clienteling is advantageous.
- Commitment to customer service, with over half of managerial time dedicated to floor presence.
- Physical capability to handle retail demands such as standing long hours, light lifting, and manual tasks.
