Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary

IDR, Inc. is recruiting a Supply Chain Analyst for a prominent client based in Carlsbad, CA. This role focuses on managing demand and supply functions to enhance forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and facilitate coordination across multiple departments to meet short-term business objectives. The position offers involvement in a global healthcare and consumer products organization aiming for streamlined supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee demand and supply procedures to improve forecast dependability and supply planning efficiency.
• Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to synchronize supply plans, leveraging sales data, inventory insights, and promotional activities.
• Examine sales trends to detect anomalies or unexpected events and drive timely corrective measures.
• Lead cross-functional projects such as new product introductions and lifecycle transitions.
• Employ demand and supply planning software to support exception management and ongoing process enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited four-year institution.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales and operations planning, demand planning, or related fields.
• Skilled in ERP platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel functions including Pivot Tables and Vlookups.
• Previous experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or beauty sectors preferred.
• Understanding of statistical forecasting techniques and replenishment modeling, including use of statistical planning tools.
