Key Duties

  • Transport children and/or parents to visitation appointments and return them safely.
  • Supervise youth during transportation and ensure contract requirements are followed.
  • Keep passengers safe at all times and maintain the assigned vehicle in proper condition.
  • Complete and preserve the required records and logs.
  • Communicate regularly with visitation specialists, parents, resource parents, and children.
  • Attend required training sessions.
  • Build and sustain communication with families in a culturally responsive way, using the family’s preferred language when possible and respecting faith and cultural considerations.
