Role overview
This opportunity is for a Talent Acquisition Associate in Barwa City, Al Rayyan, Qatar. The role is focused on leading recruitment activities from start to finish, shaping hiring plans, and supporting the growth of a fast-scaling business. The person in this position will also help build a strong recruitment team and contribute to a workplace culture that values excellence, diversity, and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Create and roll out a recruitment strategy that can scale with business expansion, covering both technology and non-technology hiring needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop recruiters so the team stays engaged, performs strongly, and works in line with business priorities.
- Strengthen the employer brand through channels such as social media, job portals, events, and partnerships.
- Develop reliable talent pipelines to support urgent hiring and future workforce needs.
- Track recruitment data, prepare reports, and share insights that improve hiring decisions and overall process quality.
- Support hiring practices that are inclusive and diverse, while staying aligned with company values.
- Manage external staffing agencies and recruitment partners to bring in strong candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for both technical and non-technical positions in high-growth, fast-moving startup-style environments.
- Ability to design, implement, and improve hiring processes, systems, and strategies.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort working with recruitment data and turning metrics into actionable insights.
- Good understanding of local and international labour markets and compliance rules in Qatar.
- Commitment to building teams that are inclusive, diverse, and high-performing.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience hiring for technology and core operational roles in startups or tech-led businesses.
- Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing methods.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay effective in a fast-paced environment.
