  • Manage occupation charge accounts and take the appropriate action when required.
  • Help with placements by checking whether accommodation is suitable for each household.
  • Keep clear and accurate records of visits, inspections, and any follow-up work, while working to performance targets.
  • Work alongside the team leader and homelessness team in placement decision-making.
  • Support vulnerable households and refer them to relevant statutory or voluntary services where necessary.
  • Track occupancy levels and report any unauthorised use or breach of agreement.
  • Cooperate with both internal teams and outside agencies.
  • Assist with move-on planning and efforts to reduce long-term dependence on temporary accommodation.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel between properties, is required.

Additional information

This role is mainly based out in the field because of the day-to-day demands of the service.

Benefits

  • Local government pension scheme.
  • Annual leave starting at 25 days plus bank holidays, pro-rated where applicable.
  • Flexible working arrangements where suitable for the role.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Access to an employee benefits platform with discounts on high street shopping, leisure activities, holidays, salary sacrifice schemes, and more.
