About the Role

OCD Studio seeks a Video Editor skilled in thriving within a dynamic creative setting, adept at transforming raw footage into compelling content for live events, sports, and social media platforms. Working closely with creative and production teams, the selected candidate will produce finished video content for various digital channels. This full-time role requires someone who enjoys editing, grasps narrative pacing, and can deliver quality work swiftly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire editing process from raw footage capture to final output focused on social media and website content, not broadcast or TV.
• Create video edits, highlights, and platform-specific versions optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and OCD Studio's website.
• Expertly work with different aspect ratios and formats such as 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 according to platform needs.
• Apply color grading, sound mixing, captioning, and incorporate light motion graphics to refine the final product.
• Produce quick-turnaround recap videos from same-day and next-day event footage under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with production and creative teams to interpret briefs and footage into content fulfilling requirements.
• Accept and incorporate feedback swiftly while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Propose creative ideas and stay updated on trends concerning social and event content.
• Organize and manage video assets systematically for ease of reuse in future projects.
• Identify scalable content opportunities from single shoot footage to maximize content value.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated video editing experience with a portfolio emphasizing social-first content or sports and music-focused work.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Good aesthetic sense regarding pacing, storytelling, composition, and color, with insight into social media performance.
• Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines, especially around live event coverage.
• Experience and focus should align with social and web content rather than long-form broadcast or advertising agency work.
• Highly organized and capable of managing various deliverables simultaneously.
• Passionate about sports, culture, and live events.
• Proactive, teamwork-oriented, and receptive to feedback.
• Based in the UK with work authorization and able to attend the North London studio Monday through Thursday.

Contract Details

• Employment type: Full-time, permanent
• Start date: Immediate availability preferred, ideally August 2026
• Work location: North London studio on-site Monday to Thursday; remote work on Fridays is allowed. Candidate must be UK-based and capable of in-office work. This is not a fully remote role.
• Salary range: £30,000 to £33,000 annually

Recruitment Timeline: Applications open from July 30 to August 9, 2026. First interview via video will follow notification during the week commencing August 12. Final candidates will meet with co-founders either in person or remotely in late August.
