Mandate

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring orders are processed accurately and punctually. Responsibilities include managing inbound receipts, processing returns, releasing outbound orders into the system, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and performing regular inventory verifications. Additional hands-on duties include picking, packing, labeling shipments, assembling skids, and entering relevant information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain precise documentation of warehouse activities such as inventory, order processing, and shipment details using WMS and handheld RF scanners.
  • Assign tasks to team members according to daily priorities to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Coordinate communication with team members, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Produce reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Conduct physical and cycle inventory counts, investigate discrepancies utilizing RF scanners and desktop tools, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock, confirming units of measure and volumetric data.
  • Oversee warehouse location organization to guarantee data integrity within the WMS.
  • Identify, report, and handle damaged, missing, or incorrectly stored inventory following company guidelines.
  • Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, audits, discrepancy management, and year-end audit preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Valid license for Material Handling Equipment operation; additional certifications (fall arrest, clamp truck, cherry picker) may be necessary.
  • Hazmat certification is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
