Meter is revolutionizing enterprise networking, and this position on the People team is crucial to our mission of empowering every employee to achieve their career best. The Workplace Operations role is fundamental to creating an environment that not only functions efficiently but also inspires and energizes our team, fostering pride in their workplace and minimizing daily inconveniences. We are seeking an individual to manage our San Francisco office operations proactively and ensure it remains a space employees are proud to bring guests into.

What You'll Own

You will be the primary owner of the day-to-day operations of the workplace, ensuring proactive vendor management, swift resolution of facilities issues before they impact employees, and independent closure of open tasks without requiring leadership oversight. Your role also involves being the welcoming face of the office, maintaining a high standard of presentation and atmosphere.

Weekly tasks may include coordinating repairs, planning team events, preparing the office for new hires, and managing numerous other responsibilities simultaneously. This role offers significant variety and autonomy. As Meter expands with new offices in Sunnyvale, New York City, and London, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and implement the global playbook for office experience and operations.

What Success Looks Like

• At 3 Months: Comprehensive understanding of office operations, including vendors, ongoing issues, routines, and employee preferences. Leadership will observe proactive management with minimal follow-up required.
• At 6 Months: The operations function will run autonomously. You will be adept at anticipating and preventing problems, and your judgment will be trusted without extensive validation.
• At 1 Year: You will have significantly elevated the Meter office experience and operational standards, demonstrating continuous improvement beyond routine maintenance.
