Academic Counselor

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team at Gold's Gym Fitness Institute, which is a division of Cult.fit. This role focuses on promoting and selling a range of certificate programs such as fitness certifications, personal training certifications, and group fitness certifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting prospective leads into enrolled students.
• Identify and engage new sales leads through active prospecting and networking.
• Formulate and execute effective sales strategies, including promotional campaigns, discount offers, and course bundles to maximize sales.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and advocating for the institute's offerings.
• Perform thorough needs assessments to recommend the most suitable certificate courses, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships to create a positive and lasting experience.
• Handle sales administrative duties such as maintaining accurate data records, managing leads, and preparing detailed sales reports.
• Regularly report sales outcomes and insights to the Sales Manager or Institute Head, highlighting performance and suggesting improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess relevant academic credentials in sales, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum of one year of sales experience, preferably within the education or fitness sectors.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage and persuade prospects.
• Demonstrate proven sales expertise with strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Possess familiarity with the fitness industry, specifically knowledge about fitness certifications and personal/group training programs.
