Role overview
HCL Software is looking for an Agentic AI Architect to join its Bengaluru team. The role is suited to a seasoned professional who can work within a cross-functional group to rapidly experiment, design, build, and validate solutions in an agile environment.
Experience and location
This position is based in Bangalore and requires 7 to 15 years of experience. The role also mentions product development experience of 10+ years.
Core technical profile
- Programming knowledge in any two of the following: Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and ecosystems, including open-source options such as LangChain and CrewAI, as well as commercial tools like CoPilot and AgentSpace.
- Working knowledge of protocols and approaches such as MCP and A2A.
- Strong grounding in generative AI, along with any two of these areas: deep learning, natural language processing, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Understanding of software architecture patterns and how they are applied in both traditional and AI-driven solutions.
- Practical exposure to cloud and enterprise platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, and Salesforce, with hands-on experience in any two to three of them.
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes for container management.
- Ability to work with Bash shell scripting in Linux or Unix environments.
Professional background
- Experience in AI/ML technologies and software development within high-quality, established organizations.
- Strong consulting capability and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Exposure to advanced generative AI solutions and proprietary model exploration.
