Role Summary
The Product team is critical to Revolut's success, crafting seamless experiences by working across Design, Engineering, and Data to transform complex challenges into scalable solutions. The Applied AI Engineer will play a leadership role managing the product roadmap, steering day-to-day functions, overseeing project delivery, and assessing risks. This role demands cross-functional collaboration and frequent communication with senior management to be the primary point of contact for the AI product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and development roadmap for AI-driven products that utilize large language models (LLMs) and other machine learning methods.
- Partner closely with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to create impactful AI technologies.
- Lead diverse teams in building and deploying AI and NLP-based tools such as AI assistants and automation frameworks.
- Define team objectives, success indicators, and timelines that align with overall company objectives.
- Produce tangible results for complex product offerings in a fast-moving and often uncertain environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience in designing and launching AI products and features from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical and technical mindset complemented by sharp business insight and problem-solving abilities.
- Background in data science or machine learning roles with ownership of machine learning projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with version control systems, model deployment strategies, and development environments.
- Strong command of mathematical and statistical concepts relevant to AI development.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to innovate and improve continuously.
