AWS & DevOps Trainer

Job Overview

We seek an experienced AWS & DevOps Trainer to join our Pune team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and guiding IT aspirants, possessing solid hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, DevOps tools, continuous integration and deployment, containerization, and automation. Strong communication and presentation capabilities are essential.

Key Duties

• Lead both in-person and virtual sessions covering AWS and DevOps technologies.
• Create and update comprehensive training content, including assignments, labs, and project work.
• Train students using practical industry examples and implement best practices.
• Facilitate hands-on exercises and mentor students through live projects.
• Assess student progress using assignments, quizzes, and mock interview evaluations.
• Guide students in professional growth and prepare them for interviews.
• Support students with final capstone projects and deployment tactics.
• Keep current with new AWS offerings and evolving DevOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with the placement team to ready students for technical recruitment processes.
• Maintain records of attendance, student progress, and training documentation.

Required Technical Knowledge

• AWS Services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS (preferred).
• DevOps Tools: Git & GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Maven, Nexus (preferred).
• CI/CD: Jenkins Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
• Operating Systems: Linux administration, Bash shell scripting.
• Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (preferred).
• Networking: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSH, VPN, Firewalls, SSL/TLS.
• Programming: Python (preferred), shell scripting, YAML.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and AWS Certified Developer – Associate.

Preferred Experience and Attributes

• Previous experience as a technical trainer or mentor is advantageous.
• Proficient in presenting complex concepts simply.
• Experienced in both online and offline educational environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps workflows.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to ongoing learning.
• Good classroom management and team collaboration skills with a positive attitude.
