Opportunity Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated BTEC driver in Battleford, Saskatchewan, to manage routes primarily serving special needs adults. This position offers stable, year-round work with guaranteed hours, no night shifts, and no weekend duties.
Compensation
The role pays $22.50 per hour and does not require previous experience, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional and safe transportation services to students on assigned routes.
- Utilize company-leading technology to efficiently navigate daily routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing necessary support especially for special needs passengers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of one year.
- Possess strong verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills characterized by patience and empathy.
- Successfully complete Ministry-mandated medical examinations and background checks.
