Role Overview

This role is designed to launch your sales career with a base salary of $80,000 and an on-target earnings potential of $137,600 with over 140% achievable bonus. The Business Development Representative will collaborate with the ANZ sales team to generate qualified leads and sales opportunities, advancing Employment Hero’s vision to revolutionize workforce management. This position is fully remote across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new sales opportunities through outbound cold calling, email outreach, and lead follow-ups.
• Meet or exceed sales goals, supporting overall company growth.
• Identify and qualify key decision makers to establish strong sales prospects.
• Work closely with Account Executives to transition promising leads for further sales progression and closing.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs.
• Research target accounts to identify decision-makers and spark interest.
• Maintain and expand the prospect database within the assigned market segment.
• Assist in delivering engaging online demos to potential clients as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year proven experience in high-volume outbound B2B sales.
• Familiarity with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, and Outreach.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong phone communication skills and resilience for extended phone engagement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management capabilities.
