Business Intelligence Analyst (Excel)

Overview

This contract opportunity seeks a proficient Business Intelligence Consultant to work remotely, focusing on leveraging Excel for AI model data preparation and analysis. The engagement requires 10 to 40 hours weekly, with compensation ranging between $40 and $50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Apply expert-level Excel techniques to organize, analyze, and present data sets to support AI model training.
• Work directly with the client’s teams to develop insightful BI solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and verify large volumes of data to ensure accuracy and reliability for AI applications.
• Document business intelligence workflows with clarity, using strong written and spoken communication.
• Convert business inquiries into actionable insights to enhance AI models.
• Design comprehensive Excel-based reports, dashboards, and visualizations for AI data analysis.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with a strong focus on Excel.
• Advanced capabilities in Excel features including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA scripting, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for explaining complex data concepts to varied audiences.
• Ability to operate independently in a remote work environment, efficiently managing time and tasks.
• Understanding of business workflows and converting business needs into technical data solutions.
• Experience in cleansing and preparing extensive datasets specifically for analytics or AI training purposes.
