Role Summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be instrumental in boosting business productivity and promoting growth. This role offers a critical opportunity to shape strategic initiatives by optimizing internal processes and fostering interdepartmental collaboration. The COO will contribute significantly to the company’s expansion into new markets and the roll-out of new products, ensuring swift delivery of value to customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Enhance operational efficiency and help various teams achieve superior outcomes using current resources.
• Examine organizational processes, structural setup, and responsibility distribution to detect growth limitations.
• Facilitate productive teamwork among Product, Technology, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Compliance departments.
• Convert CEO’s strategic objectives into tangible programs, actions, measurable metrics, and clear accountabilities.
• Lead or coordinate key cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Drive execution of market entry strategies, licensing endeavors, product launch initiatives, and operating model adjustments.
• Design and implement a comprehensive KPI system and performance management framework across departments.
• Accelerate decision-making processes and enhance value delivery to customers.
• Oversee functional leaders, reinforce team capabilities, and swiftly resolve organizational barriers.
• Engage in strategic planning and help define the company’s long-term organizational structure.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated financial service sectors.
• Crypto experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proven background working in rapidly expanding or transforming organizations.
• Experience managing multiple departments and teams comprising 30 or more employees.
• Exposure to companies with 500 to 1,000 staff, demonstrating mature scaling expertise.
• Documented success in raising operational efficiency and overall organizational performance.
• Track record executing extensive initiatives involving several departments.
• Sound understanding of profit & loss statements, unit economics, cost control, and operational impacts on business outcomes.
• Experience establishing processes in multi-market, multi-license, or multi-entity environments highly valued.
• Fluent in English.
