The organisation is embarking on a phase of significant growth and transformation.

Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting directly to the CEO, will be a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for leading operational effectiveness, clinical governance, quality assurance, safety protocols, and service excellence within our aged care, home care, and disability service divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a large and varied multidisciplinary workforce committed to delivering high-quality care across aged care and disability programs.
• Implement and drive clinical governance, quality management, risk mitigation, safeguarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and focus on exceptional client outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO in steering strategic growth and organisational change.
• Develop and nurture robust partnerships with government bodies, sector collaborators, and community stakeholders.
• Foster a culture that promotes accountability, innovation, teamwork, and person-centered care throughout the organisation.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive senior leadership background within complex service delivery environments related to aged care, disability services, health, or community services.
• Holds clinical qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current AHPRA registration is considered highly advantageous.
• Proven expertise managing clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management, and safety frameworks.
• Comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship development.
• Strong commercial insight with experience in driving organisational performance and sustainable business growth.
• Deep commitment to culturally responsive, person-centered service delivery.
