Clinical SAS Programmer

Role Overview

This full-time Clinical SAS Programmer position is based in Kochi, offering a hybrid work setup combining on-site presence and remote work. The key responsibilities include developing, validating, and managing SAS programs to support analysis and reporting of clinical trial data. Daily duties involve creating and maintaining datasets, tables, listings, and figures, conducting thorough quality checks, and ensuring all outputs adhere to regulatory and sponsor standards.

The programmer will actively collaborate with biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to understand study requirements and translate these into effective programming solutions. Contribution to documentation, process standardization, and continuous improvement efforts within statistical programming is also expected.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Statistical Programming with 4 to 12 years of relevant experience using SAS or equivalent programming tools to deliver validated and high-quality results.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial statistical designs, analysis methodologies, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with clinical trial data management, encompassing data cleaning, transformation, and integration tasks.
• Analytical capability to interpret study protocols, detect data inconsistencies, and propose data-focused solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CDISC standards such as SDTM and ADaM, along with knowledge of regulatory submission criteria, is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to work efficiently within cross-functional teams, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a hybrid environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail in programming and documentation tasks.
