Role Overview
The Computer Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing computer systems, network servers, and associated hardware and software within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise computer systems, servers, and network operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Operate and provide maintenance support for computer hardware and relevant software applications.
- Conduct routine system backups and perform data recovery when necessary.
- Accurately process and update data within computer systems.
- Identify and resolve minor hardware and software issues promptly.
- Keep system logs and operational records up to date for reference and auditing.
- Install software updates and security patches as per company instructions.
- Ensure proper operation of connected peripherals, such as printers and scanners.
- Generate necessary reports and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Adhere to company policies concerning data security and confidentiality at all times.
