About The Role

The GreenBench Companies is a commercial real estate firm specializing in a wide array of services including leadership, land use planning, mixed-use developments, investment assistance, development and construction management, and portfolio services. Headquartered in Gaithersburg, Maryland with a satellite office located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, this role will be based in Bala Cynwyd and serve projects within the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey markets.

Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will provide direction and oversight for development and construction projects focused primarily on retail and multifamily properties. Key responsibilities include project planning, organizing resources, procurement and contract administration, tracking costs and schedules, maintaining documentation, and managing construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and successfully. Additional duties involve preparing construction budget estimates, reviewing drawings, managing multiple projects, and representing the ownership during construction phases.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • Preferably holding a college degree in Building Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related fields.
  • Minimum of five years' commercial construction project management experience, encompassing both field construction and preconstruction estimating.

  • Proficient in technology for cost estimation, spreadsheet management, scheduling, and document creation, especially tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project.
