About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Demand Planning Center of Excellence (COE) Lead to spearhead global demand planning initiatives within a leading automotive manufacturing company specializing in tires. This key position requires a candidate with a robust background in supply chain planning, forecasting, and digital transformation to elevate demand planning capabilities on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global Demand Planning COE strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of demand planning processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Enhance forecast accuracy by employing demand sensing and predictive analytics techniques.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure integrated planning.
- Drive Integrated Business Planning (IBP) integration and digital transformation projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for advanced planning software such as SAP IBP, o9 Solutions, Kinaxis, and others.
- Manage cross-functional projects ensuring alignment among stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to regional demand planning teams, fostering skill development and best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or tire industry.
- Proficient with forecasting methodologies and statistical modeling to improve demand predictions.
- Hands-on experience working with advanced planning systems such as SAP IBP, o9, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis.
- Demonstrated success in leading transformational initiatives in global, matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- An MBA or equivalent master's degree is preferred.
