Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join our consultancy team for managing the design delivery of Bus Connects projects. This role entails overseeing the entire design process and acting as the main point of contact with the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and delivery phases of Bus Connects projects.
• Act as the primary interface with clients and principal stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication.
• Ensure project delivery adheres to scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and strong performance.
• Coordinate activities of specialist sub-consultants involved in the project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng) recognized by Engineers Ireland or an equivalent professional body.
• At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically relevant to roads or transport infrastructure projects.
• Documented success in managing complex infrastructure projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong skills in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
