About the Role
Ultra Clean Technology (UCT) is hiring a Director, Digital Transformation Program in Singapore. This role sits within a rapidly expanding semiconductor environment and supports initiatives that touch key areas of the business, including manufacturing, supply chain, sales and account operations, product development, services, and corporate functions. The position reports to the Head of the DT Program and also supports selected strategy, M&A, and Chief of Staff activities for the SVP of Corporate Strategy and Development when needed.
What You’ll Do
You will help define, plan, and deliver the Digital Transformation portfolio by building visibility across initiatives, preparing project plans, Gantt charts, and leadership presentations, and supporting both process and systems/tool transformation efforts.
- Review the current state of initiatives and governance structures.
- Assess each initiative’s phase, ownership, scope, plan, KPIs, and value case.
- Identify delivery risks and create mitigation actions.
- Surface new transformation opportunities through stakeholder discussions and capability assessments.
- Prioritize initiatives, map dependencies, and build a practical transformation roadmap.
- Define initiative details, resource needs, investment needs, and business value models.
- Run initiatives using structured project management practices and existing templates or guidelines.
- Relaunch or launch workstreams and ensure task-level planning and resource alignment.
- Track execution, confirm improvements are implemented, and verify progress toward the expected value case.
- Handle issues in a focused, exception-based manner and support teams on top-priority items when required.
- Keep charters and plans current using proper change control.
- Continuously improve program management methods.
- Apply subject-matter knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain during planning, roadmapping, and execution.
- Prepare initiative status updates and management-ready information.
- Work with initiative owners to refresh timelines, resourcing, financial and operational success criteria, and outcomes.
- Organize, prepare, and present initiative reviews at key milestones.
- Maintain all initiative records, status updates, and required documents in the shared repository.
Requirements
- Strong background in program management, especially on large cross-functional programs that combine business process change and technology transformation.
- Solid functional expertise in manufacturing and supply chain, with working familiarity across sales and account operations, product development, services, and corporate functions.
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations.
- Confident senior-level communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities across functions and cultures.
- Proven record of driving alignment, managing cross-functional efforts, and executing priorities with discipline.
- Good financial understanding and the ability to build and assess detailed value cases and models.
- Adaptable, intellectually curious, and entrepreneurial, with an interest in technology and innovation.
- Degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field is required.
- MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent experience is required, backed by 10+ years of managing projects and programs.
- 10+ years of program and project management experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, or contract manufacturing settings, with emphasis on operational improvement.
- 5+ years of direct experience in supply chain or manufacturing roles.
