Role Summary

The Dispatch Associate is responsible for sending drivers out with assigned loads, managing overflow situations, and checking driver hours-of-service compliance. The role also includes yard control duties, such as directing trailer movements for shifters across the yard and coordinating movement during unload and sort operations when multiple shifters are involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign and dispatch loads across the country within the feeder network, taking into account service levels, transit time, and sort indicators.
• Coordinate overflow handling to keep operations running smoothly.
• Review and verify driver hours-of-service requirements.
• Carry out yard control tasks, including directing trailer movement for shifters in the yard and during unloading and sorting activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to enter data accurately and at speed.

This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite in Malaga, Western Australia, Australia.
