District Manager

About the Role

Alsco Uniforms is hiring a District Manager to oversee day-to-day route activity, delivery execution, customer service, and the performance of service team members. This position reports to the Service Manager and is focused on keeping operations efficient, dependable, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily running of delivery and service routes so customers receive accurate and timely service.
• Plan route schedules, balance territory coverage, and distribute workloads to improve route productivity.
• Supervise, coach, and develop route drivers and service team members to strengthen accountability and performance.
• Handle customer escalations, service complaints, and delivery-related issues with a consistent customer service approach.
• Support and enforce company safety standards, DOT requirements where applicable, and operational processes.

Experience and Skills Needed

• At least 3 years of experience in route operations, delivery management, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership.
• Minimum 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with customer service and conflict resolution ability.
• A valid driver’s license is required, with a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety, or similar violations.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.

Work Environment and Job Conditions

This role involves driving on public roads, working inside and outside customer locations, and operating in loading areas of an industrial laundry facility, service center, or depot. Frequent travel within the branch area to customer sites is expected. The job also requires the ability to recognize colors, sizes, and product types, and to accurately count, add, and subtract.
