Job Overview
The Document Coordinator serves as the central contact to collect necessary documents for refinancing, ensuring all paperwork is submitted accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with customers throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to customers to request and secure required documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate proactively via email and text to follow up on document submissions or needed acknowledgments.
- Monitor the loan pipeline to track the timely progression of files to subsequent stages.
- Educate customers on the significance of document requests and assist with submission processes such as portals or email.
- Adhere strictly to communication protocols, organizational policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to verify document requirements and ensure proper processing of disclosures.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the efficiency of the document collection workflow.
- Preference given to candidates local to the Aurora, CO area.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in mortgage processing with a solid understanding of the loan lifecycle.
- Proven ability to meet or surpass daily and monthly targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Previous customer support or client service experience, such as in call centers or collections.
- Strong skills in phone communication and active listening.
- Excellent adaptability to various customer personalities and situations.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- High school diploma required.
- Familiarity with CRM software and related practices.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is an added advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a base salary of $45,000 annually, supplemented by performance bonuses.
