E-Billing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to join a reputable and expanding law firm located in the Atlantic Station area of Atlanta, GA. This is a contract position lasting approximately 5 to 6 months with the possibility of extension or permanent placement based on firm growth. The role involves working on a hybrid schedule with three days onsite weekly, and availability for additional onsite days during the initial 1 to 3 months is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle electronic billing processes for designated clients.
• Review invoices to ensure they meet accuracy, compliance, and specific client billing standards.
• Submit invoices via e-billing platforms and address any errors or rejections during submissions.
• Track invoice status and address outstanding or rejected invoices.
• Support billing reconciliations, cleanup activities, and initiatives aimed at process improvements.
• Work closely with attorneys, billing teams, finance leadership, and client contacts to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain thorough and precise billing records and accompanying documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice submissions within required deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in electronic billing, preferably within law firms or professional services.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
• Experience in investigating and resolving billing issues and invoice rejections.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with BillBlast and/or Fulcrum e-billing systems is highly valued.

Compensation and Terms

• Hourly pay ranging between $40 and $42 depending on experience.
• Hybrid work setting requiring three days onsite per week.
• Initial contract length of 5 to 6 months, with potential for conversion to a permanent role.
