Role Overview

The Field Service Engineer position, reporting to the Oakville, Ontario office, is fully remote and involves extensive travel within the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role focuses on installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing TRUMPF CNC fabricating machine tools on-site at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel extensively to install and service CNC fabricating machines at client sites across North America.
• Provide comprehensive technical service ensuring machines achieve optimal performance standards.
• Document machine conditions and customer information meticulously, recommending improvements when possible.
• Train customers on machine operation and basic service to maximize productivity.
• Represent TRUMPF as a service ambassador, maintaining direct communication with customers during installations and repairs to support their business goals.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Adaptable, professional, curiosity-driven, and courageous in approach.
• Hands-on expertise in electronics, digital circuitry, wiring, mechanical systems, and hydraulics.
• Strong commitment to customer service quality.
• Proficient with software tools and file management.
• Willing and able to travel full-time (100%).

Compensation and Benefits
