About the Role

Harmer Associates is partnering with a Chicago-based client to fill a newly created Financial Analyst role. This position requires an analytical professional to examine and interpret financial data, linking findings to potential business trends and concerns. The successful candidate will skillfully communicate key insights and themes derived from data analysis to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate historical and current financial data to recommend strategies for profit improvement.
• Regularly analyze financial information utilizing both standard and specialized reports.
• Identify evolving trends, patterns, and their implications on critical performance metrics through financial data interpretation.
• Effectively convey financial observations and highlight business challenges to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field or relevant experience.
• Up to three years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
• Proficient and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
