Role Overview
Libra Solutions is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to support various aspects of finance, strategy, and operations within a fast-growing business. This role involves leveraging financial data to implement practical business improvements. The position is hybrid or in-office based, with locations in Las Vegas, NV, Rosemont, IL, or Denver, CO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive analyses and forecasts to evaluate major investment opportunities and strategic decisions, conveying findings clearly to executives and stakeholders without financial backgrounds.
- Conduct quarterly risk assessment analyses, identifying portfolio risk areas and proposing actionable solutions.
- Consolidate and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for accuracy and insight.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts, comparing actual vs. budgeted results and performing supplementary ad-hoc analyses.
- Identify critical data sources and apply data-driven insights to enhance departmental decision-making.
- Prepare impactful PowerPoint presentations for monthly and quarterly Board meetings.
- Perform various ad-hoc financial and operational analyses as required.
- Lead special projects and develop SQL queries for both one-time and recurring reporting needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Between internship experience and up to four years working in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or corporate finance.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or closely related discipline is mandatory.
- Solid foundational understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling.
- Capability to handle and analyze large datasets effectively.
- Adept at both independent work and collaborating within teams to meet objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Residency within reasonable commuting distance to office locations in Las Vegas, NV, Rosemont, IL, or Denver, CO.
