Role Overview and Teams
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute directly to developing StackAdapt's advertising platform with production-grade code impacting product success. Working with extensive datasets and a modern stack including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL, you will participate in a collaborative, flexible engineering culture that supports growth through dedicated career paths.
Current hiring teams include:
- Creatives: Develop an all-in-one creative production and management tool for advertisers to build and manage CTV, video, audio, and DOOH ads at scale, reducing third-party dependencies.
- Developer Ecosystem: Build APIs and tools to empower software creators using StackAdapt’s platform. Maintain GraphQL public API, MCP servers, and AI systems, collaborating with Data Science and BI teams on automation solutions.
- Delta Force: Specialize in cross-functional quick wins and improvements across the platform to remove friction, improve user experience, and speed value delivery.
- Integrations: Partner with strategic teams to create native app integrations for platforms like Shopify and Snowflake, focusing on syncing data to the customer data platform.
- Billing: Build infrastructure for billing, invoicing, payment systems, tax integrations, and financial workflows modernization.
- Data Hub: Create a platform to organize audiences, analyze customer journeys, and connect advertising with marketing technology through predictive analytics, retention metrics, and identity management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new features within a full stack environment, particularly for the developer ecosystem.
- Participate in technical planning and influence architectural choices.
- Collaborate with team members to design scalable, well-tested, and documented software solutions.
- Take ownership and accountability for project outcomes.
- Engage in code reviews and work closely with product managers and designers.
- Write extensible, scalable, and test-driven code independently or in teams depending on project scope.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a full stack developer, handling end-to-end customer-facing feature development.
- Solid expertise in API design and implementation (GraphQL or REST) and experience creating external web components and SDKs.
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, TypeScript, Material UI, and programming experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude in data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with relational databases like SQL and MySQL, as well as key-value data stores.
