General Manager

Overview

The General Manager will lead the creation and growth of LeasingCo, Golf Saudi's golf equipment leasing division, guiding its evolution from a lean initial setup through to a stable and mature operation. This role holds full ownership over commercial success, asset preservation, and stakeholder confidence while building the organization gradually with Golf Saudi shared services support until internal capabilities are ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the legal entity and operating framework, progressing from launch to steady state aligned with pre-set activation milestones, avoiding premature overstaffing.
• Take complete responsibility for LeasingCo's profit and loss as well as organizational KPIs, reporting to GS HoldCo, and delegating accountability to division heads.
• Lead the Finance, Commercial, Operations divisions, and guide the Administration team’s transition from Golf Saudi shared services to in-house management.
• Implement pilot programs internally at Golf Saudi courses (such as Riyadh and Dammam Golf Clubs) involving purchase-and-leaseback strategies, followed by expansion to external courses.
• Secure and manage relationships with equity/financing partners and preferred OEMs or distributors, including overseeing joint-venture agreements and governance.
• Coordinate with other Golf Saudi subsidiaries (management, advisory, construction) to stimulate demand across the golf course lifecycle.
• Define commercial strategies covering pricing, package offerings, and margin objectives in collaboration with Finance, ensuring protection of unit economics and residual asset values.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire the leadership team while maintaining regulatory compliance and robust governance within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market.

Role Requirements

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline is necessary. A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA is preferred.

Experience: More than 8 years in senior general management or P&L leadership roles, preferably within leasing, asset finance, equipment operations, or similar capital-intensive service industries. Proven capabilities in starting or scaling business units are essential.

Technical Skills: Excellent commercial acumen encompassing pricing strategies, revenue management, capital financing, organizational design, and partnership or joint-venture management. Knowledge of KSA regulatory and governance frameworks is required. Familiarity with the golf sector or agronomy is advantageous but not mandatory.
