Guest Experience Agent

Role overview

This position is focused on creating a smooth, welcoming start to each guest’s stay. You’ll serve as a front desk contact, help transactions run efficiently, share helpful local guidance, and stay ahead of guest needs so they feel comfortable and well cared for from arrival onward.

Core duties

• Open each guest interaction with a warm, memorable welcome.
• Recognize returning guests and IHG Rewards Club members, whether they connect in person or by phone.
• Process guest bookings and handle payment acceptance, management, and receipts.
• Keep check-in and check-out moving quickly and without friction.
• Anticipate guest requests and provide recommendations tailored to their stay.
• Act as a dependable point of contact for concerns such as billing issues or dining suggestions.

What the role calls for

• Strong communication skills to handle both questions and compliments with ease.
• Good problem-solving ability to turn challenges into positive guest experiences.
• Fluency in the local language; additional language ability is helpful but not mandatory.
• Solid literacy, basic numeracy, and comfort using computers and other digital tools.
