Role Overview
We are seeking a HR Projects Manager to spearhead critical human resources initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, drive organizational growth, and support team sustainability. This role requires a highly motivated individual who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys dissecting complex challenges, and can collaborate across multiple functions to implement impactful solutions. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Corporate Business Operations, and various business leaders to foster efficiency and consistency throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning and implementation of HR initiatives across different departments, locations, and groups.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leaders to analyze challenges and identify improvement opportunities in HR tools, processes, and programs.
- Manage project lifecycles from initial scope through delivery, including establishing timelines, milestones, and communication strategies.
- Leverage data to set success criteria, track project performance, and suggest evidence-based recommendations.
- Work jointly with the HR Data team to analyze trends that support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and deploy scalable, consistent HR process improvements aligned with company priorities.
- Support organizational transformation efforts such as restructuring and realignment initiatives.
- Ensure all projects adhere to company culture, strategic goals, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 4 years in HR or program management.
- At least 6 years managing or leading cross-functional HR projects involving systems, processes, or policy supports such as performance management, onboarding, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to juggle numerous complex projects concurrently.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership and diverse teams.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and analytics tools like Workday, Tableau, and Excel to guide project choices.
- Proven success in HR process or program enhancements that support business expansion or change.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that simplify complex subjects.
- Comfortable adapting to ambiguous circumstances and shifting priorities.
- Superior attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and persistence in execution.
- Certifications in project management methodologies (such as PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) or relevant technical skills (SQL, Power Automate) are valuable.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 10% in accordance with project demands.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends if necessary.
- Successful completion of an Air Force security clearance suitable for Cape Canaveral operations.
- This role is onsite at Starbase, Texas; remote work is not accommodated.
