About the Role and Company
Join Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure, a leading and inclusive company in the UK infrastructure sector, as an Information Controller. This full-time onsite position is based in Chester, covering the North West and North Wales regions, including key locations such as Ince and Lower Frankton. The role is part of major energy infrastructure projects under the National Grid ETP Framework, engaging closely in early contractor involvement (ECI) projects to help design and manage complex information delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs), ensuring alignment with program milestones and project objectives.
- Track and report on information delivery performance, highlighting risks and facilitating proactive solutions.
- Oversee and maintain project landing pages for easy access to systems, processes, and reporting tools.
- Support data accuracy and system consistency across platforms such as ACC and Viewpoint.
- Serve as a liaison between delivery teams, Document Control, and Information Management departments to ensure smooth coordination.
- Promote standardized information processes and provide teams with guidance, tools, and best practices.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in information or document control roles within construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong capabilities in coordination and stakeholder communication.
- Understanding of information delivery planning and tracking methodologies, including TIDPs.
- Proactive mindset in monitoring performance, identifying deficiencies, and implementing improvements.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint and Fieldview software is advantageous.

About The Energy Business Unit
This unit specializes in upgrading and replacing energy networks and providing asset management services for major UK energy companies and network operators. Their work covers the transmission and distribution of electricity assets both underground and above ground, including installation and maintenance of cables, substations, overhead lines, and refurbishment services.
