Job Overview
The Inventory Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording of all incoming goods and maintaining the integrity of inventory data within the system. This role supports inventory control through dependable reporting and diligent tracking of discrepancies.
Key Duties
- Enter all inbound products into the computer tracking system.
- Validate vendor packing slips against purchase orders to confirm accuracy.
- Continuously update and maintain inventory records to reflect accurate stock data.
- Create and periodically audit inventory and product codes (SKUs).
- Identify, log, and pursue resolution of discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system data.
- Generate routine inventory reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies.
- Execute inventory adjustments within the system as needed.
- Analyze inventory cost issues and provide troubleshooting support.
- Manage inventory count processes directly in the system.
- Undertake other related administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in administrative or data entry roles.
- Familiarity with inventory management or ERP software.
- Knowledge or experience with artificial intelligence functions is a plus.
- Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma; further education in business administration or related fields is advantageous.
- Typing proficiency of at least 55 words per minute with 95% accuracy.

- Strong analytical ability to detect and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Proficient in inventory/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting purposes.
- Exceptional attention to detail in data management.
- Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

- Position is office-based within New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada.
