IT Support Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Manager to lead and maintain the IT infrastructure at Intrum Customer Services Athens. The successful candidate will take charge of daily IT operations, ensuring systems' stability, security, and efficiency, while fostering continuous improvements and seamless cooperation with internal teams to provide superior IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid identity systems including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud technologies.
• Support and enhance IT infrastructure encompassing virtualization platforms like Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop, Cisco networking, and overall system performance management.
• Handle IT service management processes using Jira and ServiceNow, troubleshooting complex problems and escalating as needed.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python to streamline admin tasks and boost operational productivity.
• Ensure IT security compliance and best practices following ISO 27001 standards and information security principles.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver dependable IT services, including maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, operational protocols, and system standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background in IT management, systems administration, or advanced infrastructure support.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud services.
• Experience utilizing IT service management and ticketing tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
• Firm grasp of networking fundamentals, virtualization technologies, and Cisco systems.
• Advanced skills in PowerShell and/or Python scripting, backed by strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities within complex IT setups.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and information security best practices.
• Excellent communication abilities in English and aptitude to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Additional Desired Skills

• Certifications relevant to Microsoft, Cisco, Azure, ITIL, or cybersecurity.
• Experience in enterprise or multi-location IT environments.
• Knowledge of IT governance, change management, and business continuity strategies.
