Junior Architect

Role overview

Magnum Constructions is hiring a Junior Architect to support architectural design, drafting, site coordination, and construction documentation for residential and commercial projects in Bengaluru.

Key responsibilities

You will contribute to the preparation of detailed architectural drawings and 3D design outputs, work with senior team members on revisions, and help maintain accurate project records and site updates.

• Create accurate 3D architectural visuals and layouts using SketchUp, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings in AutoCAD, such as plans, elevations, and sectional drawings.
• Coordinate with senior architects and designers to update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
• Support the creation of construction documents, including schedules, specifications, and material lists, while following applicable codes and standards.
• Track site progress, maintain day-to-day work reports, and record project developments.
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure execution matches approved drawings and timelines.
• Keep updated records of site materials, schedules, and project documentation.
• Work with the team to resolve site supervision issues and discrepancies.

Required skills and tools

The role calls for practical knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, rendering tools, Photoshop, estimation work, basic Microsoft skills, and the ability to travel by bike for field-related tasks.

Candidate profile

This opportunity is open only to candidates who can work full time in office or on field, are based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate there, and bring relevant skills and interest in architecture and construction.
