Junior Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking to hire a Junior Data Analyst for a full-time onsite role. This entry-level position is well-suited for recent graduates or professionals early in their careers who are enthusiastic about data management, analysis, and helping business teams make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, verify, and organize data from diverse sources to guarantee data quality and consistency.
• Examine data sets to detect trends, patterns, and provide actionable insights for business improvement.
• Create periodic reports, dashboards, and visual representations of data for stakeholders and leadership.
• Help develop and upkeep business intelligence reports and performance metrics.
• Support data-based decision-making by offering analytical perspectives and suggestions.
• Track and monitor key performance indicators to assess business results.
• Conduct as-needed analysis to back operational, financial, marketing, and strategy projects.
• Work closely with various teams to comprehend reporting needs and business goals.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance policies.
• Assist in automating reporting processes and enhancing data gathering workflows.
• Document data sources, techniques, and reporting standards.
• Keep current with data analytics tools, methods, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fundamental understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data handling.
• Basic familiarity with SQL to retrieve and query data is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is a benefit.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or related analytics software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to clearly present analysis results.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
