Role Overview

This full-time remote position involves developing the integrative components that enable a unified, accurate data source for financial reporting. You will serve as a vital link between technical data infrastructures and finance teams, supporting senior consultants in creating and maintaining interfaces connecting financial data sources with systems like Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics platforms. The emphasis is on stable backend data flows rather than user interface features.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining API connections between financial source systems and reporting tools.
• Develop and test scripts to automate processes of data gathering and transformation.
• Document technical workflows clearly to enable client self-sufficiency after project completion.
• Use SQL and database tools to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data during transfers.
• Continuously monitor data pipelines to proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect end users.
• Engage in configuration sessions to gain insights into the client's data usage.
• Help create test cases for new interfaces to guarantee reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with experienced consultants to adopt best practices in enterprise system architecture.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of SQL and an understanding of relational database structures.
• Familiarity with API data formats like JSON and XML and interest in data transport mechanisms.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure correct system setup from the outset.
• Ability to produce accessible documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong logical problem-solving capabilities and patience for troubleshooting complex data issues.
• Self-disciplined and dependable working entirely in a remote setting.
