Junior Kitchen Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Kitchen Designer to become part of our expanding team based at our showroom in Waterford City. This role involves collaborating closely with our senior designers to create innovative kitchen layouts and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and developing kitchen design concepts.
• Generate plans, elevations, and presentation materials for projects.
• Provide support to senior designers throughout each client project from the initial consultation through to final completion.
• Prepare detailed quotations, specifications, and necessary project documentation.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
• Stay informed on the latest trends, materials, and advancements in kitchen design and products.

Candidate Profile

• A qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Furniture Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for the ideal applicant.
• Experience using design software such as Winner, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, or equivalent applications.
• Excellent visual and spatial perception with a keen eye for detail.
• Passion for interior design, architecture, and modern aesthetics.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• A positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and capacity to work effectively within a small team setting.
