Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer eager to grow in a collaborative technical setting. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining client software solutions alongside senior team members.
• Operate within an Agile methodology, adhering to team protocols, coding standards, and industry best practices.
• Decompose complex issues into manageable tasks and seek direction when necessary to ensure steady progress.
• Document solution designs and maintain detailed records for client deliverables.
• Develop and update technical support documentation to assist both internal teams and clients.
• Assist in quality assurance by evaluating functionality, capturing issues, and validating corrective measures.
• Develop software components using Microsoft technologies such as the Power Platform under guidance.
• Communicate proactively about blockers, risks, or delays to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, or related fields, or equivalent practical work experience.
• Between zero to two years of development experience including internships, academic or personal projects, or professional roles.
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Interest in Microsoft cloud ecosystems including Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within team settings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with a readiness to ask questions and report progress honestly.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile development through practical experience.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Power Platform.
• Knowledge of C#, PowerShell, Bash scripting, API integrations, database management, or web development frameworks.
• Background working on client-facing, consulting, or collaborative software projects.
