Learning Specialist - Remote (2 Hour Learning System)

About the Role

Join a pioneering educational model called the 2-Hour Learning system, where students complete a full academic curriculum in just two focused hours daily, freeing afternoons for creative and physical activities. As a Learning Specialist, you will strategically maintain and enhance this innovative program from any location with stable internet.

Your primary responsibility involves transforming extensive AI-generated student performance data into targeted interventions that guide learners to mastery levels exceeding 90%. When learners face challenges, you lead live coaching sessions to promptly resolve issues, reigniting confidence and learning momentum. Additionally, you analyze student data trends to uncover latent capabilities and contribute to developing advanced AI-driven learning tools designed to substantially increase learning speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate academic performance reports and analyze data to identify issues, anomalies, and initiate corrective measures within two days.
• Conduct prompt intervention coaching sessions and post-assessment meetings to remove learning barriers, differentiate knowledge gaps from errors, and maintain learner motivation.
• Evaluate and integrate new educational applications and develop AI/LLM prototypes to improve instructional methods and resolve specific learning challenges.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine AI tutor platforms, tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks.

What This Role Does Not Involve

• Participating in lengthy meetings or delivering presentations without focus on outcomes.
• Engaging in traditional educational tasks like grading, lesson planning, or managing conventional curricula; the position is centered on AI innovation.
• Exclusively strategic tasks without hands-on execution, or monotonous administrative duties; the role requires active involvement and agility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in coaching, training, or instructional roles.
• At least 1 year providing regular one-on-one or small group academic coaching to K-8 students, concentrating on learning habits, motivation, self-direction, test-taking, or executive functions.
• At least 1 year combining data analysis with direct learner support.
• Proficient in using Google Sheets or Excel for data analysis tasks such as lookups, filtering, pivot tables, and charting.
• Minimum of 6 months in professional use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to deliver concrete work results.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or educational background in learning science or educational methodologies.
• Proficiency with Generative AI, effective prompting techniques, and basic programming skills in languages like Python or JavaScript for AI API interactions.

Additional Details

• This is a full-time, long-term position requiring a 40-hour work week.
• The role is remote with a contractor status through Crossover.
• Compensation is $30 per hour, equating to $60,000 annually based on 40 hours per week and 50 work weeks per year.
• Payments are processed weekly.
